What is Jignyasa

'Jignyasa' is the Sankskrit word for CURIOSITY. Jignyasa began in 2011 with the objective of enhancing students’ curiosity and creativity through s'ience projects and model making. It serves as a platform for students to exhibit their knowledge and to share their passion for science by interacting with large audiences across the state. Jignyasa is an annual competition which has been monumental in the enhancement of science at the school level over the last five years. We now aim to push the boundaries of Jignyasa beyond model making to promote children to research and innovate! The Jignyasa platform allows children to talk about their projects and models to massive audiences, thereby promoting for peer-to-peer teaching and learning and hence improving children’s confidence and leadership abilities.
